| THIS HAS BEEN SUSPENDED. WE NO LONGER OFFER THIS FEATURERoom Hosts
What is a room host? It is when admins of Sirisola chatland host private rooms for users. Want a private room to hang out in but don't have enough deltas for a subscription? Ask an admin if they can host a room for you! All you need to do is make sure you have the link to an appropriate free room, rooms that are stated free by the creator. When you have a room hosted you will be made the Alpha of the room, and will be able to edit the rooms name, other alphas, species, room occupancy limit, rules, etc. It is just like having your own room. Remember an Administrator of the site is putting this room up for you, and it will be accessible from their account, they are the true owner of the room, but you will be able to edit it as you wish. With this said there is a few rules, and we will guide you into how you get one of these rooms hosted.
How do I get a room hosted?
To get a room hosted you have to find an admin of the chatland. They have colored names, and also different symbols by their name (if you have those turned on), you can also find an admin easily in the mysts as their names will be colored there too, and you can also click the report button when in chat. Once you found an admin you can ask them polity if they could host a room for you. Then you give them the original link to a free room for chatlands, they will check to see if it is free, and if it is they will upload it for you, then tug you to the room. There you will be able to see your new room. To get back to the room you will have to click the "mark" button under the chatbox. That will save the room as your favorite room, so then you can get back to it in the map. Next you can edit the room however you wish by typing !edit, when you are in the room itself. Trying to type !edit in other rooms will not edit the hosted room. These are the simple steps to getting your own room hosted.
Rules
1. Most chat rules still apply to hosted rooms, but you may set the standards as far as profanity and age limits. This does not mean cussing at others, unless it is clearly a joke to both the person(s) using the language and the person(s) receiving it. 2. You may not change the background of the room unless you ask an admin and have them do it for you, if not the admins will revoke your rank as alpha in the room, and delete it. You may also get a warning, and may not be able to have a room hosted again. (keep in mind we must have strict rules so that premade/custom rooms are not uploaded, or rooms with inappropriate backgrounds) 3. Please do not be rude in any way towards an admin hosting your room, we may decline your request, and may also revoke your room. 4. You can have more than one room hosted, but please do not go overboard, Administrators may delete unused rooms, and do a room sweep every now and then. We have the right to do so because we are the true owners of the room. 5. You may use the room for a hang out room, a pack room, and just about anything. If you are having troubles in public rooms, take a retreat to your own hosted room, you can exile/ban anyone from the room if you see fit. But please be appropriate about it. 6. Most of all have fun in your hosted rooms. It is a treat the administrators are doing for all our users.

| This is a really great idea. I wish I saw more sites doing this.
Thank you for doing this.

| In the future we may implement this again, but we actually made the decision to stop this a few months ago. users were abusing this privilege, sneaking to other admins to get double rooms, breaking rules we had set up, and even making new accounts so they could get more than one room. It became messy very quickly, so until we feel we have the time so easier monitor this or find a better system, free admin hosted rooms will likely be exclusive as prizes for events and quizzes | |

| Ah yea. Possibly if we have a way to better control it, it would be easier. There we a lot of users breaking the rules, harassing admins about the rooms, and asking for multiple, which was taking up a lot of time and we couldn't monitor the chat. So though it was fun for a little while we couldn't keep it up for the sake of being able to administer the chat. | |

| I would say only give the privilege to those you trust but, it could end up looking like favoritism :c So, I do like the idea with just as prizes c: | |

A co owner would be someone you give kick privileges to like an alpha. You can be the owner of the room but if you wanted to appoint someone as a co owner you could appoint them as an alpha and check the box so they can kick users from the room. Though your name will still show as the owner of the room. Two accounts cannot own the same room unfortunately.

| What if they have to fill out something, that way you'll know how they'll treat it? And then from there if they disrespect, you can have a blacklist. | |

| We are thinking of weekly draws for hosted rooms. Users enter the draw and then their names are picked by random for hosted rooms. Making it a completely free service is very hard on the administrators. But I do like the idea of a little thing to fill out. Perhaps in order to enter the draw the user would have to agree to the rules by filling out a small application. Like on Wufoo or something. Then if they do end up winning a hosted room and they break the rules they will be blacklisted from winning another hosted room. | |
